Anna Pearl Smith, Age 85, of Wayne, MI passed away July 8, 2019.
Anna Pearl was born in Kings Mountain, Kentucky to Estil Jack and Betty Horton Walls on May 21, 1934. She enjoyed working at the Thomas E. Coleman Soup Kitchen, working at the VFW and American Legion bingo games and spending time with her family and friends. She was also involved with the Wayne County Commissioners Action Region 3 and the Bishop’s store house.
Anna Pearl was formerly a 55-year resident of the city of Wayne, MI. She will be missed by her family. She loved her family and friends. She loved helping others, but really loved playing with her great grandbabies and the neighborhood kids.
Anna Pearl was preceded in death by her daughter Neva Smith, father Estil James Walls, mother Betty Horton Walls, brothers Novis, Ray & Eugene Walls, sisters Pauline, Leema, Barbara and Alama Walls, father-in-law Virgil Lindzy, mother-in-law Neva Lindzy, sisters-in-law Virginia Norris, Vera Shock, Patricia Lindzy, brothers-in-law Paul Smith & Virgil Lindzy, nephews Asher Little, Albert J. Smith, Albert Smith, James Norris and nieces Kelly Lindzy, and Betty Walls.
She leaves to celebrate her life, her husband Robert Dean Smith; two daughters, Patricia (Anthony) Russell and Virginia (Juan) Aguayo; foster daughter Jennifer Jamieson, 8 grandchildren, Gill Powell III, Neva Powell, Diamond Powell, Christopher Powell, Ceciela Aguayo, Ericka Aguayo, Casey Aguayo; 17 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law A.J. Smith; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
