Alta Ruth “Suzy” Wilchowski, 73, of Westland, MI passed away February 27, 2022.
Alta Ruth was born April 1, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan to Vina Tromans. She went to Beauty School and earned a degree as a certified beautician ahead of her time. She enjoyed music, antiques, shopping, animals, travelling, family time and gardening.
Suzy was preceded in passing by her son Dennis Wilchowski, mother Vina Tromans, step-father Robert Tromans Sr., and brother Robert Tromans Jr.
She is survived by her spouse Kevin Bewersdorf; (2) daughters Laura Potts, Rene Caldwell; (3) brothers, David Petzel (Yvonne Wyborny), Larry Pomathy, Lou Markiewicz; (3) sisters, Linda Brummitt (Bruce), Carol Markiewicz, Gail Goers (Terry); (2) grandsons, Dylan Potts, Blake Gostyla.
The simple pleasures in life brought great joy to Suzy daily. She loved her friends and family and looked forward to everyone getting together on holidays. Her unique one-of-a-kind personality was contagious and always made us laugh and the highlight of any gathering. She will be greatly missed and loved forever.
