Carl F. Pfeiffer, a cherished son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on February 12, 2026, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was born on July 3, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan. Carl lived a life full of service, love, and devotion to his family and friends.
A proud veteran, Carl served in the U.S. Air Force, showcasing his commitment to his country. This sense of duty carried through into his everyday life, where he embraced each moment with passion. He had a zest for life that was evident in his various interests. An avid fisherman and a classic car enthusiast, Carl found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often sharing his love for these hobbies with those he held dear.
He is survived by his sons Rex, Randy, Rodney, Cadence, and Colton Pfeiffer, who will carry on his legacy of love and strength. His grandchildren, including Correy Pfeiffer, and great-grandchildren, Leeanna, Dakotta, and Kaiser Pfeiffer, will also remember him fondly, as his warmth and guidance left an indelible mark on their lives. He is also survived by his sister, Ruth Thomas, and daughter-in-law, Chyanne Dobbyn.
Carl was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carole Pfeiffer, and siblings John Pfeiffer and Norma Jean Rice. The love and memories shared with those who have passed will forever remain in the hearts of his family.
A visitation will take place at The Husband Family Funeral Home in Westland, Michigan, on March 1, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A second visitation is scheduled for March 2, 2026, from 11:00 AM until the funeral service at 12:00 PM, also at The Husband Family Funeral Home. Following the funeral service, Carl will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan, on March 3, 2026, at 1:30 PM with his beloved wife Carole.
Carl F. Pfeiffer's life was a testament to the importance of family, service, and enjoyment of the world around him. He will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
