With heavy hearts and loving memories, the family of Hayden Anthony Brauer announces his passing on June 29, 2026, in Detroit, Michigan. Born on January 17, 2001, in Wayne, Michigan, Hayden brought a radiant light into the lives of all who knew him, a light that will be deeply missed yet cherished forever.

A beloved son, Hayden was the joy of Sherri Capparelli and Mark Brauer. He grew up surrounded by the caring warmth of his grandmothers, Cynthia Capparelli and Gail Gittins, as well as his grandfather, Al Gittins. The familial bonds Hayden shared extended outward to his aunts—Cindy Wey and Marcia Brauer—and his uncle, Joe (Kelly) Capparelli. Amongst his closest circle were cousins Nick (Manny) Wey, Eddie Anderson, Magen Capparelli, and Anthony Capparelli along with his 2nd cousins Raymond Wey and Rose Davis. Hayden was also cherished by his great aunts - Sally Brauer and Mary Brauer, whose love further enriched his life.

Although Hayden leaves behind a grieving family, he joins in peaceful rest his grandfathers, Joseph Capparelli and John Brauer, and his aunt, Stacy Gittins, whose memories are carried forward with enduring love and strength.

Hayden’s presence was a blessing, defined by kindness, laughter, and unwavering loyalty to his family and friends. In every gathering, Hayden’s smile and gentle spirit filled the room, reminding those around him of the beauty that comes from compassion and connection. He walked through life as a supportive friend, devoted son, and loving grandson, characteristics that left an indelible mark on all fortunate enough to have known him.

Every moment spent with Hayden was a moment illuminated by his generosity and warmth. Whether at family celebrations or quiet afternoons, Hayden’s love was ever-present, a testament to what it means to truly care for others. His absence will be felt in the everyday rituals and the extraordinary milestones alike, but the memories he created will inspire love and gratitude for years to come.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Hayden’s life. Visitation will be held on July 6, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at The Husband Family Funeral Home, 2401 S Wayne Rd, Westland, MI 48186. The family hour will take place on July 7, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed immediately by the funeral service at 1:00 PM, also at The Husband Family Funeral Home. All are welcome to join the family for a luncheon at Angelo Brothers at 3:30 PM which will follow the services.

Hayden’s journey on earth may have ended too soon, but his legacy of love, kindness, and togetherness endures in the hearts of all those he touched. In sharing stories, in offering comfort to one another, and in remembering the light he brought to each day, his memory will live on—forever cherished, deeply mourned, and always celebrated.
