Henry Louis Hunter, 79, of Southfield, MI passed away February 11, 2026.

To Our Dear Friends:

At 9:21 p.m. February 11, Henry entered Eternal Rest with our Lord and Redeemer. Born and raised in Memphis, TN. He was united in marriage to Nedra Hunter, who preceded him in death in July, 2007. From their union, three beautiful daughters were born—Toni, Jodi, and Erika—whom they lovingly raised in Detroit, Michigan.

Henry proudly served his country as a Veteran, attaining the rank of Sergeant (E5). He was also formerly employed as a DDOT Driver for the City of Detroit. A devoted father and grandfather, Henry deeply cherished his daughters and adored his grandchildren, taking great pride in each of their individual accomplishments.

His family was blessed to be present holding his hand as he took his final breath softly, holy and beautifully entering into Sabbath Rest. He will be MISSED!
