Holly Lofton

d. October 1, 2020

Holly Lofton, 64, of Inkster, MI passed away October 1, 2020.

Holly Lofton was born to the union of David and Annie Lee Lofton (preceded in death). She was one of seven children. Holly was born at Beyers Hospital on Dec. 24, 1955 in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Holly received her education and graduated from Robichaud H.S. At an early age was raised in the Apostolic Faith. She was baptized according to the word in Acts 2:38., under the leadership of the late Pastor Oscar G. Hayes, where she also sang in the choir.

She went on to attend Western University to acquire more education. Holly was a mother of two children Adrian Lofton and Moya Talley whom she loved very much. Before her sudden illness she was employed at Metropolitan Airport.

Holly was known for eating and going shopping, traveling to family reunions and to the Bahamas. She loved lavish clothing and always wanted to fellowship with family and friends. She became a member at Greater Works Deliverance Ministries, Romulus, MI. under the direction of Pastor Teresa A. Moton. For eight years she served as President of the Pastor Aid Committee, was part of the Usher Board and sang on the Praise Team… “What a mighty God we serve.” She would always say “We can do Better!” She will be missed with great memories and most kind thoughts.

Holly was preceded in death by Dorothy Kellar, Regina Jones, Patricia Gerard  and Donald Lofton. She leaves to cherish her memory Craig Lofton and Colleen Hatcher both of Wayne, MI; two grandchildren Azaria, Tylar and TJ (who preceded her in death); her loving sisters and brothers in Christ; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
