Penny L. Sowers, 51, of Westland, MI passed away on December 9, 2018 in St. John’s Hospital. Penny was born in Nikin Hospital to Larry and Gladys on January 23, 1967. She went to high school at John Glenn. She enjoyed her grandchildren, fishing and biking. She received awards from VFW and was involved in AARP. She is survived by her fiancé Ronald Atkinson; loving children, Robert, April, Ronald II, Geno and Russell; beloved sister to Geno and Larry and proud grandmother to 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
