Peter Gruich

Peter Gruich, 86, of Wayne, MI, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on January 19, 2021. Beloved husband of 61 years to Anita. Loving father of Suzanne Hills, Laura (John) Dasho, Gary (Carol), Gregg (Laurie Beth), Peter (Lisa). Wonderful grandfather to Matthew, Nichole, Ryan, Kyle, Jason, Jeffery, Crystal, Ricky, Kayla, Travis, Thomas, Alyssa, and Dylan. Great-grandfather of 11. Peter was born in Romulus, MI on October 8, 1934. He was employed by The Kroger Company for 37 years. In his retirement he enjoyed car shows, camping, and road trips with his wife. He is predeceased by both parents and five siblings.

After a one day viewing, Peter will be cremated and there will be a private burial at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Hospice of Michigan so they may continue to provide compassionate care.
