Porter Ely, Jr.

Porter Ely Jr., Age 84, of Belleville, Michigan passed away on March 16, 2021.

Porter was born on November 17, 1936, in Middlesboro, Kentucky to William and Ethel Ely. He earned his diploma from Middlesboro High School.  He went on to earn a degree in Management.  He loved Fishing, Camping, Hunting, Farming and Dog Showing.  Porter was also a Mason.

Porter lived life to the fullest. He loved his family and his animals. Porter loved good food, his church and he liked telling bible stories.  He will be missed beyond words!

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Flora; children, Brenda (Rick) Little, Tony Ely, Valarie (Dave) Previtt, Rosemary (Tony) Pagareski, Marlene Jones and John (Chris) Ely; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren as well as a brother, James “Ronnie” (Judy) Ely.

Porter was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ethel Ely and his siblings, Kenneth, Willard, Henry, Edward, Margie Hodge, Betty Ely, Eugene and Evelyn Ely.
