In the early morning hours of August 19, 2026, our mother, Sandra Rebecca Ferrall, age 86, passed away peacefully.

Affectionately known as Sandy by family and friends, Sandra was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, to Ralph and Irene Wolfe. She made Wayne her home for nearly all of her life, where she raised her family and built a lifetime of memories.

On May 16, 1959, Sandy married Owen Hoyt Ferrall, beginning a love story that would span more than 67 years. Owen preceded her in death in 2020, and after years apart, separated only by heaven, they were joined together again on August 19, 2026.

Sandy is survived by her children, Sharon Ann Ferrall, Robert Nathan Ferrall, and Jason Owen Ferrall, and her beloved grandchildren, Justin Wiles, Joshua Wiles, Devan Ferrall, Audrey Ferrall, and Grayson Ferrall.

Those who knew Sandy will remember her warmth, her stories, and especially her sense of humor. Her wit and ability to make people laugh were a special part of who she was and will be deeply missed.

Sandy was deeply loved, and we take comfort in knowing that she and Owen are together once again.
