Stephanie (Stevie) Lee Gasper-Ohsowski, age 80, of Wayne, MI passed away peacefully, Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at her home, surrounded by family under hospice care.

She was born on July 4, 1945, in Wyandotte, MI. Daughter of Steve and Irene (Ruff) Gasper. Stephanie was an avid reader who enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, gardening, as well as feeding the birds and deer. She loved spending time Up-North at her cabin, and she loved spending time with her family, especially with her Great Grandkids. She was teaching them how to sew.

Stephanie was married to Frank Ohsowski for 62 years and they had 3 children, William, Dawn and Shellie.

Stephanie is survived by her two daughters, Dawn (David) Stamper of Van Buren Twp., MI, Shellie (Keith) Wooley of Garden City, MI and stepson, Frank Ohsowski of Onaway, MI; 3 grandchildren, Alexandra, Amanda and Justin; 4 great grandchildren, Emersyn, Easton, Blakely and Julianna; a sister, Beverly (Ted) Roof and a brother, Gregory Gasper. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her infant son, William (Billy); her parents Steve and Irene (Ruff) Gasper; as sister and brother-in-law, Julia and Wayne Rickel; her brother and best friend, Michael Gasper; her in-laws, Frank and Helen Ohsowski and her granddogs, Melsy and Harley.
