Wilma Jean Belle, Age 80, of Westland, MI , passed away December 8, 2018.
She was born to the late Amelia (Hawthorne) Ivey and Jordan Ivey on September 15, 1938 in Jackson, Tennessee (Madison County). Wilma graduated from Inkster High School. Wilma met her husband, Dorsey L. Belle, while Dorsey was stationed in Michigan serving in the United States Army. They were joined in holy matrimony in 1960, and were married for 58 years. He recently preceded her in death (February 2, 2018). From this union, they were blessed with one son, Rodney Belle.
Wilma held several fulfilling jobs throughout her lifetime. Aside from being an extraordinary wife and mother providing a loving home (a full time job in itself!), her most rewarding position was serving as a Michigan Employment Security Commission (MESC) Case Worker for 13 years.
Wilma leaves a host of endeared cousins, nieces, nephews, Goddaughters, spiritual daughters and sisters, and other beloved family and friends.
