Obituary

Athena Sherry-Claire Forsyth passed away at the age of 52 on February 23, 2023 in Belleville, MI.

Athena was born on March 28, 1970 to Margie and Robert Belanger in Ann Arbor, MI. She attended Plymouth-Canton Schools, graduating from Salem High School in 1989. She went on to study at Schoolcraft College and graduated with honors becoming a Registered Nurse.

Athena is survived by her mother, Margie Belanger; daughter, Laura Belanger; granddaughters, Avery Sammons and Ayla Sammons; grandmother, Claire Russ; sister Debbie Ostrowski; father-in-law, John Adomitis; and several friends who she considered family. 

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Christina Adomitis, father, Robert Belanger, grandfather, Millard Hamilton, grandmother, Jane Hamilton, and grandfather, Carl Russ, and mother-in-law, Gail Adomitis.

Athena will be deeply missed but her light will forever shine on.
