Betty Joann Zmierczak, 67, of Van Buren Twp., MI passed away on September 21, 2020.
Betty was born on January 16, 1953 to Virginia and Verlon Moody. She attended Romulus Senior High School where she graduated in 1974. She went on to earn a certificate as a manicurist from Dorsey School. She was involved in the Moose Club!
Betty “Boop” is survived by her husband Richard Zmierczak; two sons, Kevin Dale Zmierczak and Lawrence Richard Zmierczak; one grandson, Kevin Joseph Zmierczak; one granddaughter, Samath Christine Zmierczak; her mother Virginia Senart; 3 sisters, Brenda (Sharrow) Church, Joyce Sitarski, Beverly French; nephew Eddie Eger (was like a son).
She was preceded in death by her father Verlon Moody and brother-in-law Danny Sitarski.
Betty “Boop” was loved by everyone who met her. Wesley, who was loved as a grandson and her great granddaughter, along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a bunch of friends and neighbors. She was a people person! She enjoyed camping, travelling, dancing, margaritas, being with family and friends and loved to laugh and joke around.
