Don Thornburg

Don P. Thornburg, 83, of Osseo, MI passed May 24, 2020.

Don was born in Loudon, Tennessee to Joe F. & Imogene Thornburg on November 19, 1936. He attended Redford Union High School and graduated in 1954. He later attended Lawrence Tech College as well as University of North Carolina for Electronics and Agriculture.

He entered the US Army in 1960 where he received the Good Conduct Medal and training in Artillery, Radio and Television Maintenance.

Don was preceded in death by his father Joe F. Thornburg; his mother Imogene Thornburg; son  Greg Rea; and one grandchild Tim Dupek.

He leaves to his memory beloved wife Donna; daughters Karen Hayes and Kelley Olexa; son Joey Rea; 7 grandchildren, Steven Olexa, Shelby Olexa, Katlyn Olexa, Karla Olexa, Greg Hayes, Taylor Rea, Kurtis Dupek; 1 great-grandchild Autumn Hayes.
