Ellen Marie (MacRobert) Yax, Age 67, of Westland, MI passed away on February 23, 2020.
Ellen was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Floyd George MacRobert and the late Alice Mary (Peyton) MacRobert on March 24, 1952. She attended high school in Garden City and followed up her education with classes at Dorsey Business School. Ellen worked as a Substitute Para Professional in the school system and loved 10,000 Scrabble and Sci-Fi and scary movies.
She leaves to celebrate her life: her husband Gilbert Stephen Yax; her children William (Patricia) Loop, Holly (Melvyn) Long and Jeffrey Cameron Long; her grandchildren Alyssa Danyelle Long, William James Loop III, Angela Ellsworth, C.J. Frank Kulas, Bailey Loop, Hailey Loop, Riley Loop; and her great grandchildren Shianne Jesse-Marie Stephens, William James Loop IV, Brianna Lynn Ellsworth, Bradley Richard Ellsworth, and Scarlet Jane Fowler. She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Alice MacRobert and sisters Patricia Deschenes and Barbara Ann MacRobert Block.
