Geraldine Caudill, 70, of Westland, MI passed away peacefully on September 4, 2020, with her family by her side after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born on October 19, 1949 to the late parents Fon & Flora Caudill.
Gerry was mother to her only child, daughter Tina Morales (Frank).
Proud grandmother of granddaughter Tiffany Worth (Joshua); grandson Anthony Morales and great-grandmother to her precious great-granddaughter Rylie Joy.
Gerry is survived by her sisters Margie Downing, Annette Woolsey and brother Ken Caudill;
She was preceded in death by the love of her life Frank Hanley; her parents; brother Fon Jr. (the late Evelyn) Caudill; sister Judith Caudill.
Gerry was caring, selfless, kind-hearted and her family was her true happiness in life. She loved people and always showed a genuine care and concern for everyone. Gerry was an avid Christian, belonging to Merge Community Church in Wayne, MI. She enjoyed the simple things in life such as doing puzzles, playing with her cat and had a great interest in gemstones and jewelry.
We will miss Grandma Gerry and her kind words, “its ok sweetie”, “love you sweetie”. We will miss her good-byes that always included, “give everyone a hug from me” and her famous fudge at Christmas time. But most of all we will miss her voice and warm hugs. She was loved beyond words and will be missed by many.
