James E. Allen, 57, of Inkster, MI passed away january 15, 2023.
James Eugene Allen was born to Bessie and Johnnie Allen on October 13, 1965 in San Bernardino, CA.
James, lovingly known as Jimmy, and his mother relocated to Michigan, where she met and married Lloyd Lyons. He graduated from Cherry Hill High School, and later enrolled in Job Corp to become a skilled painter receiving his certificate. He worked at Amar Doors, Fed-Ex and Coca-Cola until he became ill.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Bessie Lyons, Lloyd Lyons and Johnnie Allen Sr., siblings Johnnie Jr., Gary and one son Willie. He leaves to cherish his memory: Adrienna, wife of 27 years; 13 children, Tanecia, James Jr., Michael, Travis, Tammy, Evette, Macarla, Cherry, Valerie, Marshall, Jalavar, Brandy, Jasmine; 29 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Anthony, Lemire (Rosetta), Omar, Keith (his ride or die baby brother); 7 sisters, Virgie, Kathy, Genevieve, Tina, Jeaneen, Tisha, Gennie; 4 aunts, Mary, Geraldine, Yvonnie, Lena; father-in-law John Dawson; mother-in-law Jeanette Dawson; 7 sisters-in-laws; 1 brother-in-law; 2 god-daughters Jaime, Kamesha; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and acquaintances.
