Jason “JD” LeRoy Darke, Age 48, of Westland, MI passed away on February 28, 2019.
JD was born in Detroit, Michigan to Hugh and Cheryl Darke on October 6, 1970. He attended Wayne Westland High School. Jason enjoyed walking his dogs, guns, knives, family, up north and his CB radio. He was involved with the National Rifle Association.
Jason leaves to his memory, mother Cheryl Lynn Darke; father Hugh Anthony Darke Sr.; siblings Lisa Kay Darke & Hugh Anthony Darke Jr.; nieces Angela Marie Hope Moffett, Paige Mary Lynn Holet; nephews Jacob Hugh Darke and Jaxon Anthony Charles Darke; and great nephew and niece Allen Hames Fry Jr and Marie Erin Paige Young. He was preceded in passing by his grandmother Lucille Magdalene Duke and grandfather Leroy Beveley Duke.
Jason loved the outdoors, fishing, boats, guns CB and CB Tag and his place up North. He loved all of his nieces and nephews and all children. He was smart, loyal and honest and always helped the underdog. He was quick to lend a hand to anyone in need. He will be truly missed.
