Keith E. Polk

Keith Erving Polk, 41, of Toledo, OH (formally of Romulus, MI) passed away September 10, 2021.

The sun rose on the life of Keith Erving Polk on September 11, 1980 in Toledo, Ohio and finally set on September 10, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital, Toledo, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Mildred Waterman, grandfather Homer C. Thomas, his brother Keith Huffman and uncle Lawrence (Larry) Polk. He leaves to mourn a son Juliani M. Alvin, father Keith Polk Sr., mother Joann Thomas-Polk, brother Randy Polk, his favorite niece Kayla Polk and his 90-year old grandmother Fannie N. Thomas; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Keith was raised in Belleville and Romulus, Michigan where he graduated from Romulus High School. He moved to Jacksonville, Florida, where he lived for several years. Keith had an infectious laugh that was very unique. He made many friends wherever he went and was well-known throughout his lifetime. He loved fishing and would often go on fishing excursions with his uncle Scott. Keith loved Soul Food cooking and would send pictures of many cuisines he came across and swears it was the best food he ever tasted. He was truly loved by his family, friends and acquaintances.

Keith held a special place in his heart for his special family friends, uncle Jason E. Thomas, his family nephew Issiah Thomas, his brother and niece Randy and Kayla Polk, friend Reno, uncle O. Scott Thomas and Ida Mae Love and family.
