Latif Beag, Age 67,of Inkster, MI passed away May 1, 2019.
Latif Beag was born on April 5, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan to Laura Estella Beag from Detroit, Michigan and Ismail Beag from Pakistan. Latif accepted the Islamic Faith at an early age. He earned his G.E.D in Detroit, Michigan and went on to work for Chrysler Motor Company.
Latif was joined in holy matrimony with Vanessa Beag in 1973. To this union five children were born. Latif was later employed with the Detroit Wastewater Treatment Plant for 30 years as an operator until retirement on October 1, 2009. Latif loved sports and was athletic as a young boy and as an adult. He enjoyed playing baseball and basketball. His hobbies included bowling, watching sports, solving crossword and sudoku puzzles, spending time with his family and friends especially with his children and grandchildren and with his dog Jack. Most of all he enjoyed being a proud father and grandfather and being able to provide for his family.
Latif departed this life on May 1, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father Ismail Beag, mother Laura Estella Beag, and his youngest son Sharif Hason Beag.
He leaves to cherish his memories: wife Vanessa Beag, children Salia Bibi Beag, Ayesha Bibi Beag, Fatima Bibi Beag, and Latif Beag, Jr.; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister Jalika Jackson; special cousin Jong Davis; good friend Elaine Eaton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
