Leslie “Les” James Rahm Sr., 79, of Detroit, MI passed away on May 30, 2022.
Les was born on May 10, 1943 to Leslie G. Rahm and Virginia Rahm (York). He loved cars, motorcycles, reading, and watching cooking shows. He was involved with the Paralyzed Veterans of American, Mouth and Foot artists and Friends of the Rouge cleanup. Later in life Les decided to advance his education by taking classes in the Adult Education Program at Cody High School.
He is survived by his children, Lesley Ann Rahm, Leslie J. Rahm Jr., Brad Rahm and Sherry Ploeger; grandchildren, Nicole Rahm, Ashley Rahm, Michelle Tomlinson, Sarah Beth Rahm, James Basil, Johnny Basil, Richard Ploeger and David Ploeger; great grandchildren, Samantha Rahm, Parker Rahm, Talia Baughman and Jaxon Rahm; siblings, Marietta Boyeff and John Derda as well as sister-in-law, Mary Pasternack.
Les was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Rahm; daughter, Paula Basil; grandparents, Peter and Lonnie York; parents Virginia and Leslie G. Rahm and siblings Joey Pasternack and Janine Pasternack.
