Linda "Lynn" Morton

Linda Kathleen Morton, 77, of Wayne, MI passed away June 13, 2021.

Linda was born in Detroit, Michigan to Bud and Margaret Clendennin. She was born a leap year baby on the 29th of February in 1944. She was known for taking care of everyone and making sure you ate. You needed a shirt? She’ll give you the one off her back. If Lynn only had $10.00 left in her bank account she would give you the $10.00 and try to find you an extra dollar.  Spending time with her family and friends was her favorite thing to do while beating everyone playing Yahtzee and your occasional game of bingo.

Lynn was the best shopping buddy and loved her some AppleBee’s after a successful shopping trip. When we say “successful shopping trip” we mean she got three new pairs of pajamas and a new pair of shoes. She loved her pajamas and shoes along with getting herself a mani pedi.  Her hair and nails always had to be done. She also loved to color.

Lynn was preceded is death by her husband Gary Morton, father and mother Bud and Margaret Clendennin, brothers Spike, Porgy, Rick and Tim Clendennin, grandsons Robert and Jason Venters.

She is survived by her sons Jerry (Lisa) and David Venters along with her daughter Jodi Andersen (Bob); her grandchildren Christina Clark (Jason), Jake Andersen (Marissa), Sydney Andersen (Hayden), Tess Venters, Jade Venters; great-grandchildren Ashley Venters (James), Gavin Allen, London Venters, Kinsley Andersen, Levi Andersen; a future great great-grandchild Emma Grace; brother Mark Clendennin; sister-in-law JoAnn Barber and brother-in-law Charles Morton.

She wasn’t just our Mom… she was everyone’s Mom.
