Margaret Durfy, 95, of Westland, MI passed away August 29, 2021.
Margaret was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada on April 2, 1926 to David and Mary McFarlane.
Margaret was a member of the Eastern Stars in Garden City, MI. She worked at her family bakery in Garden City for years then Stahl’s in Plymouth and in her later years worked at Plymouth Inn Assisted Living. Her family was her pride and joy. She married Lloyd Durfy and had six wonderful children.
She is survived by one daughter Mary (Jack) Black; three sons, Lloyd (Patricia) Durfy, Daniel (Judy) Durfy, David (Nancy) Durfy; four granddaughters, Cindy Ouellette, Pam Grunwald, Tera Lefler, Heather Durfy; two grandsons, Bryan and Robert Durfy; 13 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren with one on the way and many more that called her ‘Granny’; and a host of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd, son John Durfy, daughter Nancy A. Durfy, brother John McFarlane, two sisters Mary White and Jean Baetz.
