Mary Helen Winborn, 91, of Detroit, MI passed away April 10, 2021.

Born February 15, 1930 to the late Elizabeth and Waldo Monroe, Mary was the 6th of 7 children who have all preceded her in death. Mary accepted Christ at an early age and continued to keep her house in order until her condition changed but she still kept Christ first. Mary had a heart of gold, a compassionate soul that would help anyone. All you had to do was ask!
Born in Lawrence, Kansas, Mary graduated from Barnes Business College. While living In Lawrence, Kansas she met the love of her life Frank Winborn. Mary and Frank married on July 13, 1951 and to this union six sons were born.
Mary worked for the Federal Civil Service for 30 years. She accompanied Frank to Alaska, Germany, and various military installations before retirement in June 1972 from the U.S. Army.
Cherishing, leaving her legacy, and memories with her loving husband, Frank Winborn are her 6 sons, Stephen, Frank Jr., Waldo Sr., Gerald, Oscar, Thomas; 6 daughter- in-laws; 17 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, and so many wonderful friends.
