Theresa M. Ellis, Age 53, of Detroit, MI passed away May 12, 2019.
Theresa Marie Ellis was born August 21, 1965 to Arthur Carter and Eleanore Avendt. She attended Garden City East High School and later graduated with her GED.
She went on to earn her Master’s Degree of teaching in special needs from Eastern Michigan University. She enjoyed reading, doing nails, camping and spending time with the grandkids. She loved teaching special needs children and received many best teachers’ awards over her career.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her brothers Edward Carter and Joseph Carter.
She leaves to celebrate her life, her husband Kevin; daughters Tiffany Nepsey, Heather Martin (T.J.) and Brittany Rogala,; son Robert Guiher; grandchildren, Paige, Destiny and Kaylei; sister Susan Carter-Johncox (Michael Johncox); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
