Victor A. Davis Jr.

Victor A. Davis Jr, Age 38, of Detroit, MI passed away May 22, 2019.

Victor Andre Davis Jr. was born November 19, 1980 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Victor Davis and Yvette Smith. He graduated from Henry Ford High School in 1999. He attended A. Philip Randolph Vocational Tech School, where he completed the Automotive Mechanic and Auto Body Repair courses.

He started working at the early age of six with his parents at the family gasoline station. Victor Jr. started building model cars at a very young age which led to his love for auto mechanics. He started going to the auto repair shop with his dad and he watched everyone and learned the business. He continued to work at the family business and when his father passed away he wholeheartedly stepped into his father shoes and continued to run the business. Victor Jr. loved to cook, enjoyed jet skiing, boating and fast cars. He helped everyone he came in contact with and everyone who met him loved him.

Victor Jr. met Natosha Hicks, the love of his life, soulmate in high school and they were high school sweethearts. They have been together ever since and have four beautiful children, Jamar, J’avier, J’vion and Paige. He was a dedicated family man, he always had a smile on his face.

Victor Jr. departed this life on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 doing one of the things he loved best…riding his ATV.

He leaves to cherish his memory, father Victor Davis (deceased); mother Yvette Smith; step-parents Keith Smith and Doris Davis; grandparents Theopolis Lacey, Virginia Davis (deceased), David and Lucy Stephens (deceased); uncle Vincent Davis (Michelle); five children Jamar, J’zvier, J’vion, Aizayah and Paige; 15 brothers and sisters, Harold, Andra, Qiana, DeShawnte, Katrice, Ashley, Jerran, Kortney, Keyshauna, Hailey, Keyontae, Victor, Keith, Victoria and Devin; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
